Devonna M. Kaji, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Kaji has served as Occu-Med’s Medical Director for nearly twenty years.  She has supervised all of Occu-Med’s medical standards development sessions in the Genitourinary System and has assisted medical specialists and sub-specialists in other medical specialty areas in the research and drafting of specific medical standards and guidelines in those medical areas.  Dr. Kaji has served as a Director of the Company since 1979 and has supervised Occu-Med’s outside medical consultants during her tenure with the Company.  Currently, she oversees the research and application of all medical services provided by Occu-Med.

Dr. Kaji is a board-certified fellowship-trained urologist.  She has served as Professor of Urology and Assistant Chief of the Department of Urology at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, the University of Southern California and the University of Colorado.

Dr. Kaji graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley and the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii.  She completed her surgery and urology training at the University of Southern California and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
