Dr. Cady is a fellow in the American College of Occupational Medicine, the American College of Preventive Medicine and the American College of Cardiology.  Dr. Cady was the Medical Director of Occupational Health Services and the Director of the Cardiopulmonary Laboratory for the County of Los Angeles for more than twenty years.

During his tenure with Los Angeles County, Dr. Cady supervised the performance of more than 50,000 cardiovascular stress tests and fitness evaluations for police, fire, and lifeguard applicants and employees.  Dr. Cady has served as Adjunct Professor of Medicine and Preventive Medicine at the University of Southern California and has had past professorships with the University of Texas and New York University.

Dr. Cady has published numerous cardiovascular research papers involving cardiovascular conditions and employment.  He is also a past Director of the Western Occupational Medical Association.

Dr. Cady has consulted with Occu-Med on issues arising in the field of Cardiology and the testing of police and fire applicants for the past 20 years.

Dr. Cady is a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine and Yale University’s School of Public Health.
